Analysis of Seismic Damage Characteristics of Buildings after the Turkey Earthquake Based on High-resolution Remote Sensing Images

  • The urban area and surrounding rural areas of Nurdagi Town, Kahramanmarash Province, Turkey were selected as the research area. By obtaining the high spatial resolution remote sensing image data before and after the Turkey earthquake, the seismic damage information of buildings was extracted, and the seismic damage level of buildings was identified. The seismic damage index was used to calculate the seismic intensity grade in the region, and the seismic damage characteristics and main causes of buildings were comprehensively analyzed. It has important reference for rapid assessment, emergency rescue and reconstruction of earthquake disaster.
