Investigation and Analysis on Seismic Performance of Village Houses in Kuancheng County, Chengde Prefecture

In order to understand the seismic performance of rural houses in Kuancheng County, Chengde City, field research and statistics were conducted on 12,699 houses in 46 villages of 18 towns in Kuancheng County. We mainly investigate the building age, building structure and building materials information. This paper analyzes the hidden danger points of houses with different structural types, and calculates the seismic fortification capacity of the houses in various villages and towns in Kuancheng. The investigation and calculation results show that the houses in this area mainly have brick-concrete structure, brick-wood structure and stone-wood structure. The seismic fortification performance parameter is between 0.08 and 0.57. The seismic performance is general, which can not meet the seismic fortification requirements.
