A Study on Public Opinion Strategy of New Media Platforms of Earthquake in Emergency Responses

  • When an earthquake occurs, if the public opinion cannot be predicted correctly and handled properly, it may cause public panic. In the era of big data, the practice of new media with real-time characteristics reasonably guiding network public opinion on the earthquake and helping earthquake management departments to take effective measures to carry out public opinion monitoring can play an important role in earthquake disaster prevention and reduction. However, fragmented new media will also aggravate the complexity of dissemination when it disseminates, resulting in the problem of “information cocoons”. Therefore, in this paper, by studying the process of earthquake network dissemination, it conducted an in-depth analysis of the law of information dissemination, and summarized the disadvantages of current public opinion induction, hoping to bring some enlightenment and thinking to the future public opinion dissemination of earthquake disaster prevention and reduction.
