Abstract
This paper studies on the management system of American social organizations participating in disaster relief, and introduces characteristics of major social organizations. The relevant experiences of the United States in fostering and promoting the development of social organizations, cooperating with the large-scale key social organization platform, construction of information interactive service platforms, and building a fair regulatory mechanism are summarized. Since the Wenchuan earthquake, the enthusiasm of Chinese social forces to participate in disaster relief has continued to increase, and their role has become more and more important. The mode of social organization development and the mode of political and social cooperation formed in the long-term practice of the United States are of great significance to guide social organizations to participate in disaster relief work orderly and effectively in China.
