Abstract
In order to explore the differences between Chinese and foreign emergency cultures, this paper, from the perspective of disaster films, systematically summarizes the differences between Chinese and foreign emergency cultures from the four dimensions of emergency consciousness, emergency subject, emergency evaluation and accountability, and analyzes the reasons for the differences through 109 Chinese and foreign disaster films. The results show that cultural background, thinking mode and geographical location are the important factors that cause Chinese and foreign emergency culture. At the same time, through the excavation of volunteer culture and accountability culture worthy of learning in Western disaster films, it can provide reference for the construction of the socialist emergency cultural system with Chinese characteristics.
