Finite Element Analysis of Adobe (Kiln) Structure Based on ANSYS

  • Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS, two types of finite element models are established according to the actual investigation of the kiln structure in Zhangjiakou area. The seismic analysis of the structure is carried out by using the time-history analysis method. The key points of displacement, acceleration and other relevant laws and characteristics are studied. The results show that the seismic performance of the backer model is more prone to damage than that of the isolated model, and the damage of the two structures becomes larger after resonance. Finally, the earthquake damage response mechanism of adobe structure and corresponding strengthening measures are proposed for the weak links of the two structures.
