Abstract
Based on the GPS repetition measurement data of the Xianshui river fault and adjacent area, taking the 2008 Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake as the time node, the characteristics of the sliding and regional deformation activities of Xianshui river fault and the adjacent area are studied by using the dynamic deformation system analysis model. The following results and views are obtained: The dynamic change of the tectonic activity of the Xianshui river fault before and after the Wenchuan earthquake is remarkable, and the dynamic change of crustal deformation in the west of the fault is also clear. These not only indicate that there are different characteristics of deformation and tectonic activities in the larger space range of Wenchuan earthquake. At the same time, there is similar deformation center in the west of the fault. This may be closely related to the specific structure and dynamic environment, and providing more possibilities for us to identify the precursors of large earthquakes.
