Abstract
The establishment of coalbed methane accumulation model in the mining area and the identification of the main factors of gas control can provide important basis for well pattern arrangement, drilling, fracturing, and drainage in the later stage. In this paper, the geological conditions and coalbed methane characteristics of Baiyanghe mining area in Fukang, Xinjiang are systematically studied. Combined with the grey correlation theory, the combined closed reservoir forming model of tight roof and floor, monoclinic structure and hydrogeological conditions is summarized. The results show that the thickness and gas content of 42 target coal seams in the mining area are large, which are positively related to the depth of the coal seam; The sandstone density of the direct roof and floor of the coal seam is good, forming good sealing conditions. The comprehensive analysis shows that the southern part of the mining area is located at the bottom of the monocline, with large burial depth, thick coal seam, high gas content and good sealing conditions, which is a favorable area for CBM enrichment.
