Investigation and Analysis on Seismic Performance of Typical Mining City Buildings—Taking Tongling City as An Example

Due to the development of long-term mineral resources, mining cities have produced a series of problems in mine geological environment, which seriously affect the seismic performance of urban buildings. Taking Tongling city as an example, in this paper, we conduct a comprehensive survey of the seismic performance of buildings in the city to grasp the basic situation of earthquake resistance of buildings, and then study the impact of typical geological disasters in mining cities on buildings including landslides, collapses, mudslides, mining collapses, and karst collapses. Suggested countermeasures are provided to provide opinions for the seismic fortification work of mining cities.
