Abstract
Using the limit equilibrium method and the finite element strength reduction method, the stability of the landslide of Yuhuangge Reservoir in Tongchuan New District was calculated and analyzed. The safety factors of the two methods under natural, medium and large earthquakes are compared and analyzed. The results are basically consistent, and with the increase of seismic peak ground acceleration, the stability of the slope is gradually reduced, and the maximum reduction of safety factor up to 18%. According to the calculation results, the stability evaluation is carried out. The landslide of Yuhuangge Reservoir is unstable under the action of large earthquakes, and the stability under the action of medium earthquakes is low. The results provide reference for the landslide risk evaluation and prevention and control, and provide the basis for evaluation of seismic geological hazards in Tongchuan New District.
