Abstract
Through a search in databases such as Medline, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, HowNet, and Wanfang Medical Journal, the writer retrospectively analyzes the injury information such as the causes of injury, injury regions, and injury types of the wounded after the earthquake in the world in the past 20 years, obtains the statistics data related to the causes of injury, the regions of the injury part, the types of injury, etc. With these data as samples, the distribution of the number of wounded after the earthquake was compared for various causes, regions and types of injuries. Finally, it was concluded that the main causes of injury were the crash caused by falling objects, falling and crush. The main injured regions were limbs and the lower limbs were dominant. Most of the injury types were fractures of the extremities, and soft tissue injuries throughout the body were also common. In addition, this paper also discusses the general injury pattern of the wounded after the earthquake and the dynamic evolution process of the injury in order to provide a reference for future post-earthquake rescue operations and medical resources allocation.
