Abstract
Based on a large number of measured data of shear wave velocity in the earthquake micro-zoning project of Yanliang area of the aviation industry group, we use the least squares method, and adopt four models, namely, power function, exponential function, linear function and quadratic polynomial function, to statistically regress the relationship between shear wave velocity and depth in this area. And to the goodness of fit criterion, the empirical regression formulas of shear wave velocity and depth variation of site soil and its main lithology are given through comparative analysis and discussion. The results show that there is a significant correlation between shear wave velocity and buried depth, and the recommended empirical formula can be used as a reference for sites without wave velocity data.
