Aohan Earthquake Swarm on February 2018 and Its Sequence Characteristic

We take the Aohan earthquake swarm on February 2018 in Chifeng as the object of this study, and determine its property and seismicity characteristics through systematical analysis of the characteristic analysis of the sequence of earthquake swarm, the relationship between the earthquake swarm activity and the surrounding moderate-strong earthquake and the stress state in Chifeng area. The results show that Chifeng area has seismological and geological conditions for moderate and strong earthquakes, and it is easy to produce earthquake swarm events which has a statistical predictive directivity relation to the strong earthquakes around. There are high Q value, low b value and good consistency of the sequence of the earthquake swarm which indicate that the stress field in this area is enhancing.
