Current Situation of the Earthquake Engineering Development Based on CNKI Database

The research status of seismic engineering is analyzed on basis of the CNKI database. Firstly, comprehensive analysis is done on all of the papers, including their publishing time, research institution and resources styles. Secondly, earthquake engineering related papers are analyzed including their publishing year, publishing journal and keywords. In the end, the academic dissertations are analyzed. According to the research, the research achievements of earthquake engineering are mainly concentrated in a few research institutions and published in a few journals, while the key research contents are in a wide range. Therefore, other institutions may exert influence in different fields of seismic engineering to improve the number of documents, thus indirectly change the overall decline of the overall number of papers.
