Earthquake Disaster Loss Evaluation in Hebei Yangyuan-Yuxian Basin

According to seismic structure and seismic activity characteristics of the Hebei Yangyuan-Yuxian basin, we selected 4 earthquakes to calculate earthquake disaster loss using 3 exiting earthquake disaster loss evaluation systems, whose result is also corrected according to housing, population and economic situation investigation. The study may provide scientific guidance for the local emergency rescue work and for the government emergency preparedness in quakes.
