Wave Characteristics of Blasting Events Recorded by the Chongqing Digital Seismic Network

  • The paper analyzed wave data of blasting events recorded at Wushan airport by Chongqing seismological network between January and June 2016. The results show that the time-space-strength distributions of blasting events have obvious regularity, and the initial motion of p wave, AP/AS amplitude ratio, frequency spectrum etc. of blasting events is obviously different from natural seismic waveform. The results can provide some reference for the judgment of earthquake and explosions signal.
