Relationship between the Present-day Ground Fissure in Heibei Longyao and the 1966 Xingtai Earthquake

The comparison between the Longyao present-day ground fissure and the surface rupture, aftershocks, isoseismal and crustal deformation of the 1966 Xingtai earthquake proved that the formation of the Longyao ground fissure is related with the 1966 Xingtai earthquake. The discovery of the Longyao ground fissure provides the basis for the study of the seismogenic structure of the 1966 Xingtai earthquake.
