Location Accuracy Estimating of the Digital Seismic Network of Jiangxi Province and Its Adjacent Areas Using Repeating Events

  • On basis of 662 seismic events recorded by the digital seismic network of Jiangxi province and its adjacent areas since 2009, we obtained 267 repeating earthquakes by using waveform cross-correlation method. From the 267 repeating earthquakes, we selected 23 earthquake doubles with waveform correlation coefficient above 0.8 and recorded by not less than 3 stations to estimate the location accuracy of digital seismic network the Jiangxi province and its adjacent areas. The result shows that:the location accuracy of Gannan is better than adjacent areas in northern Jiangxi Province and its neighboring region, the location accuracy of Yichun is not well.
