Effection of Chenggong Site Soil on Amplification and Characteristic Period of Ground Motion

On the basis of geotechnical investigation report of different projects in Chenggong, Kunming, we establish a one-dimensional horizontal soil layer modal. Using the modal, we analyze the region site seismic response and study the amplification of the site to ground motion and seismic design response spectrum characteristic, and then give the range of the characteristic period under different earthquake respectively. The result may provide reference on selecting reasonable ground motion parameter for architecture structure dynamic analysis.
