Abstract
Crustal movement analysis based on GNSS velocity field has become a powerful means to research geosciences problems, among which, determining the regional reference for tectonic environment analysis of China continent and its surrounding areas is very necessary. This paper defines the regional reference by using the least square method with the comprehensive power that satisfies the Tisserand condition. With reference stations and basic stations of the "Crustal movement observation network of China"(1999-2004) and 7 IGS stations around China mainland, we analyze velocity field and initially establish the tectonic environment image of China mainland and its surrounding areas.
