Digital Terrain Analysis of Anning River Terraces Based on SPOT Image

This paper introduces the basic principles and data processing of DEM extraction based on two scenes SPOT images, and extracts DEM by using two scenes SPOT image covering the Anning river. Meanwhile, the paper does the digital terrain analysis on the Anning river terraces based on the obtained DEM. The results show that tectonic uplift of east side of Anning river leads to the asymmetric distribution of Anning river terraces.
