A Practical Program for Picture Data Vectorization in Earthquake Case Study

Aiming at the original data missing problem in earthquake case study,a new program based on MATLAB is present in this paper which can pick up the original observation data from the related picture rapidly. The test result showed that the program can pick up the original data from the related picture of earthquake precursor in historical earthquake case rapidly. The picked data are highly similar to the original data in curve shape and many details that can be used to replace the original data in earthquake case study, especially in the absence of original data.
