Characteristics of Horizontal Crustal Deformation Studies in North China Based on GPS

  • With the GPS observation data of the CMONOC from 2009 to 2011, the velocity field of the north china has been obtained. Based on the continuous deformation hypothesis, we use the data of the horizontal velocity field to compute the distribution of horizontal strain field in this region by the triangle method and its distribution image was drawn by GMT. The characteristics of horizontal crustal deformation zone were analyzed by combining with seismic and geologic data, and the conclusions were drawn intentionally.
