Effect of Infilled Wall and Its Arrangement on Seismic Performance of Frame Structure

  • According to force condition of infilled frame structure under earthquake action, this paper analyzes the main influence of filling wall on the seismic performance of reinforced concrete frame structures. First, combined with domestic and foreign infilled frame structure theory and test research results, the stress characteristics of the infilled wall frame structure are summarized and analyzed. Then, with selecting filling wall stress strain constitutive model, using the PERFORM-3 Dsoftware, the effect of the arrangement of the infilled wall to the anti-seismic capacity of the whole filled wall frame structure is studied. The result shows that the arrangement of infill walls have a great influence on the seismic performance of the whole filled wall frame structure, and should be symmetrical arrangement to avoid unnecessary earthquake destruction. At the same time, further study of the effect of wall thickness, opening and filling properties materials on the overall seismic performance is necessary
