STUDY OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SHALLOW SHEAR WAVE VELOCITY AND BURIED STRUCTURE IN BEIJING PLAIN

  • In this paper,we use drill logging to obtain a shallow 3-D shear wave velocity structure model, and select 2 typical velocity profiles to explain the relationship between the structure and buried fault.The results show that the late quaternary Sedimentary in Beijing plain are controlled by the new tectonic and buried fault movement.Moreover,the difference of shear wave velocity plays an important role in the precise positioning of the buried structure.
