APPLICATION OF HIGH DENSITY RESISTIVITY METHOD IN WATER EXPLORATION IN LIMESTONE

This paper introduces the working mechanism of high density resistivity method and its actual application effect in water exploration in limestone area through exploration examples combining with geological structure data of exploration area.The result shows that "U"-type low resistance region, that is relatively water-rich area, is found in various areas on 4 cross-sections which indicate that the method is effective. Finally, instructions are provide for the using of the method.
