APPLICATION OF ELECTRICAL SOUNDING IN GROUNDWATER EXPLORATION DEMONSTRATION PROJECT IN WATER-DEFICIENT AREA OF ONGNIUD BANNER

This paper introduces the effect of electrical sounding in groundwater exploration in water-deficient area in Inner Mongolia.Based on geological structure, synthetical histogram and resistivity profile, this study provides the buried depth of each stratigraphic unit and development of the aquifers, determine well location in the section of Quaternary sandy gravel and thick bedrock weathering.
