Abstract
Based on the analysis of geologic field work, Radon measurement, scanning of quartz shape (SEM), Nami Hka River Fault is a ductile shear zone in mid-late Proterozoic, but shows brittle deformation in Himalayan. The fault is composed of brittle faults superimposed on ductile shear belt. The neotectonic movement active phase of the fault focused on the Pliocene and Pleistocene. The fault has little influence to the hydropower engineering construction because of the weak activity since the Holocene.
