Activity and Effect of Main Faults in the Field of Erlang Mountain Tunnel in Yakang Highway

  • The activity of main faults in the field of Erlang mountain tunnel in Yakang highway is directly affecting the engineering design and construction.With the integrative analysis of geologic field work of the faults, ESR dating, scanning of quartz shape(SEM) and fault gas measurement, we find that all faults in the field of Erlang mountain tunnel have no perceptible activities.So they have little influence to the engineering construction.But the crushed zone in tunnel station affects the integrality of rock mass, in engineering, it is necessary to take initiative way to keep away from these places or take measures to stablish the rock mass.
