The dynamic characteristics of underground water-level anomalies of beijing well-net before zhangbei Ms6.2 earthquake

  • 摘要: 1998年1月10日张北6.2级地震前,北京地下水位观测井网部分井孔观测到一组由趋势到短临前兆异常,本文较详细地阐述这些异常点的分布及不同阶段的异常表现特征和发展过程,显示出孕震过程中震源区应力应变积累过程与水位动态的内在联系,给出不少有益的启示,对地震预报前兆研究有一定的参考价值。

     

    Abstract: Before the Ms6.2 earthquake of Jan. 10, 1998 in Zhangbei, Heibei province, a group of precursory anomalies developing from trend to short and impeding term were observed in some of wells within Beijing water well-net. The distribution of these anomalies and their external characteristics and developing processes in different stages are described in detail in this paper. The results show that the internal relationship between the dynamic water-level features and the acumulative processes of stress and strain during the seismogenic processes in the source region exists, and gives many helpful enlightening guidance for seismologists. Therefore, this study has a certain refenence value for precursory researches on earthquake prediction.
