Abstract:
Use the waveform data of
ML≥2.0 earthquake events from 2009 to 2018, the crustal
QS in Taihangshan uplift and adjacent regions are imaged. Combined with seismic activity and heat flow we study the characteristics of the crustal attenuation. The results show that the crustal
QS value in the study area changes significantly laterally. In general, the lower the topography and the stronger the tectonic activity, the lower the
QS value. The distribution of
QS value is obviously related to topography and tectonic activities. Most
M≥6 earthquakes since 1900 are located in the boundary of low
QS regions, especially the two belts of seismic activity in Heze, Shandong province and Xingtai, Hebei province. Most of the heat flow points in the study area are located in areas with low
QS values. There is a negative correspondence between the heat flow value and
QS value.
