基于震源聚类方法确定川滇交界东部地区微震的空间分布特征

Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Microearthquakes in East Sichuan-Yunnan Boundary Area from Epicentral Clustering

  • 摘要: 断层空间分布是地震预测的基础数据,微震空间分布能够帮助探测断层。使用基于密度的聚类方法分析自动拾取技术获得的川滇地区微震目录,并进一步地利用空间位置信息分离出了不同地震活动带内的微震序列;对川滇交界东部地区一带不同地震活动带的微震目录,加入波形信息后,采用聚类方法进行二次分离,从中获得了部分属于不同断层的微震,一定程度上刻画出了该地区断层的空间位置信息。

     

    Abstract: Spatial distribution of faults is important to earthquake prediction. Spatial distribution characteristics of microearthquakes can help to detect faults. We use DBSCAN clustering method to analyze catalog of microseisms from auto-picking algorithm in east of Sichuan-Yunan area and then separate microseism sequences of different seismic zones. For every seismic zones in this area, we further employ waveform information of earthquakes and do second clustering. By second clustering, we separate different seismic sequences belong to different faults, which depicts fine fault structure in this area.
