Focal Mechanism Solutions and Seismogenic Structures of Jingxi MS5.2 Earthquake

  • 摘要: 利用CAP方法反演了2019年11月25日靖西MS5.2地震主震及MS≥4.0强余震的震源机制解,得到MS5.2主震和MS4.3强余震震源机制解结果相近,均为逆冲型,结合余震序列的NE向分布情况,初步判断下雷-上映断裂为可能的发震构造;深度反演结果显示主震震源深度为1.3 km、余震为1.2 km,表明此次地震为极浅源地震,与流动台走时资料所得的结果基本相符,结果基本可靠。

     

    Abstract: We inversed the focal mechanism solutions of the main shock of Jingxi M5.2 earthquake and M4.3 aftershocks in 2019 by using CAP method. The results of M5.2 main shock and M4.3 strong aftershock are similar, and both of them are thrust type. According to the distribution of aftershocks in NE direction, it is preliminarily concluded that the Xialei-Shangying fault is a possible seismogenic structure. The depth inversion result shows that the focal depth of the main shock is 1.3 km and the aftershock is 1.2 km, which indicates that the earthquake was a very shallow earthquake, and the result is basically consistent with the data obtained from the mobile station. The result is basically reliable.
