Abstract:
In view of the frequent step-down changes of water level in Shiquan well in Shaanxi Province, the observational instruments, wellbore devices, surrounding groundwater exploitation, regional rainfall, well water and reservoir water level changes, and seismic impacts were analyzed. The results show that the Shiquan reservoir discharge near the Shiquanjing area and the elevation of the Hanjiang water level will cause the sudden rise-deep change of the Shiquan well water level, but the series of step-down changes of the water level of Shiquan well have nothing to do with instrument failure, groundwater exploitation, well pipe leakage, co-seismic effect of far-field large earthquakes, regional stress changes, and changes in reservoir water levels in nearby rivers.
