晋冀蒙交界地区小震围空图像分析

Seismic Gaps Formed by Small Earthquakes in the Joint Area of Shanxi, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia

  • 摘要: 通过对晋冀蒙交界地区小震动态图像扫描识别,发现该区存在3个相互交叉的ML 2.0和ML 3.0地震空区。通过对该区的构造背景、空区特性、演化过程以及震例进行分析,来综合判定空区的危险性。结果表明,ML 2.0地震空区分别被打破已经8个月和18个月,表明其已失去对中强地震的短期预测意义,ML 3.0空区可能为孕震空区,对晋冀蒙交界地区的中强地震具有一定的预测意义。

     

    Abstract: Using dynamic image scanning recognition on small earthquakes in the joint area of Shanxi, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia, we find 3 seismic gaps including 2 ML 2.0 seismic gaps and 1 ML 3.0 seismic gap which crosses each other. The structural background, characteristic, evolutionary process, and the earthquake cases are analyzed to judge moderate and strong earthquake risk in the gap in the future. The result shows that the two ML 2 seismic gaps had been broken for 8 months and 18 months respectively which indicate that they have no significance to moderate and strong earthquake forecasting, while the ML 3 seismic gap may be an earthquake preparation gap that has certain significance to moderate and strong earthquake forecasting in the area.
