基于PTD方法测定2014年金寨ML3.9震群的震源深度

Focal Depths Locating of the 2014 Jinzhai ML3.9 Earthquake Swarm Using PTD Earthquake Location Algorithm

  • 摘要: 通过PTD方法测定了2014年金寨ML3.9震群40个ML≥1.8地震的震源深度,采用sPL深度震相方法验证其可靠性,分析了震源深度的统计特征和随时间变化特征。结果表明,该方法测定的震源深度较为可靠,金寨震群的震源深度较浅,集中分布在4~6 km范围,是发生在上地壳的浅源构造地震,且随时间变化较为稳定,未出现随时间下迁的趋势。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the focal depths of 40 ML≥1.8 earthquakes in 2014 Jinzhai ML3.9 earthquake swarm were determined using PTD earthquake location algorithm, which was confirmed by sPL depth phase method, then the statistical characteristics and varied characteristics over timeare analyzed. The result shows that the focal depths of Jinzhai earthquake swarm were very shallow, concentrated in the 4~6 km range, which indicates that Jinzhai earthquake swarm were the shallow tectonic earthquakes occurred in the upper crust, and the focal depths were stable over time with no tendency to become deeper over time.
