Abstract:
Using large area precision leveling data of 2005-2007 and GPS data of 364 observation stations since 1999(including mobile stations and fixed stations), the velocity field of North China is calculated respectively. The results show that the vertical motion trend of large area leveling and GPS's overlapping areas are basically the same. With Taihang Mountain tectonic zone roughly as boundary, the western region is mainly in uplifting motion while the eastern region is mainly in sinking motion. Some areas' large area leveling and GPS's vertical motion are different, may due to the time span of data inconsistencies and measuring points distribution.
