Abstract: This paper gives the patterns of the seismicity, such as the seismic gap, the increased seismicity, the distribution of the seismic activity belt, and the anomolous high frequency of small earthquakes in Linxian before the Heze M5.9, Undoubtedly we has accumulated the valuable data for earthquake research and earthquake Prediciton in the junction area of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces from this event.
