EARTH ELECTROMAGNETIC SOUNDING AT SOUTHWESTERN MARGIN OF EERDUOSI BLOCK

  • 摘要: 本文总结了鄂尔多斯块体西南缘甘肃庆阳-永靖剖面的大地电磁测深结果。该剖面横跨了不同的地质构造单元,沿着北纬36°的东-西方向,由鄂尔多斯块体到青藏块体。探测结果不但反映出各个地质构造单元的区域性地壳-上地幔电性结构特征,而且显示出了较为明显的电性横向变化;表征出青藏块体和鄂尔多斯块体之间强烈的挤压作用。该文还讨论了由大地电磁测深所估算的大地热流沿剖面的展布形态,并且综述了鄂尔多斯西缘和南北地震带北段40个测点大地热流估算值的区域性分布特征。高热流区由北向南呈条带状展布,其边缘地区与地震活动性亦有较明显的对应关系:测区内近三百年来6次7(1/2)级以上大震的震中都分布在高热流边缘区中。因而"高热流值区的边缘附近地区"亦和"软流圈顶面的梯变带"、"地壳内特殊增厚的高导层"、"地壳内电性的剧烈横向变化"这些标志一样,作为潜在震源区判断的依据之一。

     

    Abstract: This paper summarises the earth eleotromagnetic sounding results for Qingyiang-Yongqing profile of Gansu Province at southwestern margin of Eerduosi block. This profil-goes across differeat geologic structural elements from Eerduosi block to Qingzang block along E-W direction of 36°north latitude, The sounding results not only reflect the eltcric property in regional crust-uper mantle in each geologic structural elemnt but also show remarkble transverse variation elctric propertyi display the comprersicnal action between Qingzang block and Eerduosi block. The paper also discusses the distribution form of geothermal heat flow along the profile estimated by the earth electromagnetic sounding results, and overviews regional distribution charaeteristics of estimated geothermal heat flow values of 40 observation points along west margin of Eerduesi and nerthern secticn of South-North seismic belt. The high heat flow area distributes from north to cuth like belt and its margin area is obviousl corresponding with seismtcity: the epicentres of 6 great earthquakes with M≥7(1/2) occurred in the recent 3 hundred years in the surveyed area all distributed in margin areas of high heat folw. Therefor, the margin areas of high heat folw value areas can be used as one of criteria for judging a potential great earthquake focal area like "the gradient variation zone on the top of layer of flowagell, especially thiekened high conductive layer incrust" and "sharply transverse variation of electric property in cruit".
