RELEVANT ACTIVITY OF DEEP EARTHQUAKES IN NORTHEAST ZONE AND INLAND EARTHQUAKES IN NORTH CHINA

  • 摘要: 公元1500年以来,大陆深浅源地震经历了三期同步活跃阶段,作者据深震区幔源物质对流、震源机制解认为:西太平洋板块消减于珲春上地幔内590公里并发生冲断层活动,区域应力作用于断裂带及附近,加剧了壳内的走滑、倾滑断层活动,两类地震空间从东向西、时间同步活动。

     

    Abstract: Since 1905 A. D., the Huichun deep seismic belt and the tectonic earthquakes in the northeast continent have undergone three stages of synchronous activity. Based upon the synthetical analysis of the mantle convection in the deep seismic zone and the focal meehanism, it is consi dered that the thrust faulting appeared at the plate of the west Pacificafter the plate inserted into the Huichun upper-mantle at depth of 590km and with a dip of 27 degrees from east to west, which resulted in the uplift of inland upper-mantle and therefore caused the tectonic seismic activity in the crust with its direction from east to west in space and synchronous activity in time.
