Abstract: Based on GPS base station data in Fujian area from 2005 to 2009,velocity fields of twenty stages are calculated and analyzed combined with strong earthquakes in Fujian and the surrounding area.The result shows that the velocity fields of Fujian area changed obviously during the occurrence of the South China Sea earthquake in 2007,which indicates that the velocity fields is affected by the Filipinas plate.
