运用地震P波初动资料求解浙江地区构造应力场

ZHEJIANG TECTONIC STRESS FIELD DETERMINATED FROM SEISMIC P-WAVE POLARITY DATA

  • 摘要: 读取了浙江地区1998-2002年的地震波资料的44个地震,168条P波初动,采用格点尝试法求解得到该地区的应力场。结果表明,该地区在平均P轴走向为248°,倾俯角为3°,T轴走向为338°,倾俯角为6°。该应力场方向与前人采用较少资料得到的应力场方向较为一致,但该研究采用了大量P波初动资料对应力场进行约束,因此更为可信。该结果可以用来分析该地区的地震地质背景和断层形成条件,对地球动力环境的研究有一定意义。

     

    Abstract: On basis of 168 P-wave first-motion polarities of 44 earthquakes occurred in Zhejiang and its adjacent areas from 1998 to 2002, the crustal stress field in the area is determined using the grid test method. The results show that the azimuth angle and dip angle of the average P-axis of crustal stress field is 248° and 3°, and the azimuth angle and dip angle of the T-axis of crustal stress field is 338° and 6°.The crustal stress field direction determined in this study is relatively consistent with that used less information by predecessors, but our study used a large number of P-wave first motion polarities data to constrain the crustal stress field, and therefore is more credible.The results can be used to analyze the geological and seismological background, and formation of faults in the region.It has certain significance in geodynamic environment study.
