COSEISMIC EFFECT OF PRECURYORY OBSERVATIONS AND ITS APPLITATION

  • 摘要: 研究发现,强震(Ms ≥ 7.0)前后普遍存在着明显的同震异常效应,其分布区域很广。这些异常既与发生的地震有关,其中有些又与一些潜在的地震有关,因此,通常这些异常可起三个方面的作用:①同震异常效应明显的地区可能是继发地震的地区;②同震异常是直接与地震事件有关的异常,它为地震的预报提供了可靠的信息;③同震异常的出现在时间上具有准同步性,所以大尺度范围内异常的集中出现,为强震预报提供了中短期信息。

     

    Abstract: It is found that the coseismic effect phenomena of precursory observations existed generally around the occurrence of strong earthquakes with magnitudes equal to or over 7. 0 and the area covered is very large. Of these effects, some are related with earthquauakes, the others with some potential strong events. Generally speaking, the study of these coseismic effects of precursory observations can benefit us with following three advantages:
    1. The obvious area of the coseismic effect may be the site for the coming strong earthquake.
    2. The coseismic anomalies are directly related with earthquakes. They could provide us with reliable evidence for the future event prediction.
    3. The appearance of the coseismic anomalies has an apparatus synchronism, so the concentration of the coseismic anomalies in a large area may show us the valuable imminent message for strong earthquake prediction.
