强震前地震活动广义分维的研究

THE GENERALIZED FRACTAL DIMENSION STRUCTURE OF SEISMICITY TIME BEFORE LARGE EARTHQUAKES

  • 摘要: 本文引入广义分维来研究地震活动的时间分形结构,并探讨其地震的前兆意义。通过研究海城、澜沧—耿马、溧阳三次地震前后地震活动的广义分维Do(ε)的变化,发现时间标度区间为2—16天时,Do(ε)的变化可以反映大震孕育过程中地震时间分布的不均匀性,并表现出震前降维的前兆变化特征。Do(ε)的有效变化标度区间还与区域地震活动的强弱有一定的相关联系。

     

    Abstract: The generalized fractal dimension is introduced to study fractal distribution of seismicity time in this paper.On the basis of generalized fractal dimension Do(ε) before and after Haicheng, Lancang-Gengma and Liyang earthquakes, it is found that a range of timescale is 2-16 days,the Do(ε) change can reflect an inhomogeneity of seismic temporal distribution in the seismogenic process of large earthquakes,showing the precursory feature that the fractal dimension drops before the earthquakdes.The scale range of efficient change of Do(ε) has some relation to regional seismicity.
