DISCUSSION OF THE CRUSTAL DEFORMATION AND EARTHQUAKES

  • 摘要: 较深入地讨论了地壳岩层应变的一般特性,并在理论上得出;(1)地震孕育发生的充分必要条件是地壳岩层的弹性应变量的积累要大于塑性形变量的转化;(2)地壳岩层在应变的宏观破裂之前,很可能会普遍存在应变的加速阶段。如果这一认识被进一步证实是正确的话,将可成为地震短临预报的突破口;根据作者1993年提出的地震能否孕育、发生的关键因素是地壳岩层弹性垂直差异运动的速率大小的认识,在理论上初步讨论了地壳岩层应变与地震预报的新途径。并初步提出了地震危险区与安全区的定量判别指标;初步提出了地震应力是垂向剪切水平向传递的。

     

    Abstract: This papre has deeply discussed the general characteristics of the strain of crustal rock formation and obtained in theory:1) the abundant and esvsential condition of the development and occurrence of earthquakes is that the accumulation of elavStic deformation volume of crustal rock deformation is bigger than the change of the plastic deformation volume;2)before macroscopic rupture,the crustal rock formation probably shows a deformation accumulation stage.If the knowledge proves to be correct, it will become a breakthrough point of short term and imminent prediction of earthquakes.According to the knowledge that the key factor of whether an earthquake develops and occurs depends on the rate of elastic vertical differential movement of crustal rock formation, which was put forward by the author in 1993, this paper has preliminaryly discussed the crustal rock formation strain and a new way of earthquake prediction in theory, and preliminaryly gives a quantitative identification index of seismic risk area and safe area.The paper also gives the mechanism of seismic stress transmission and concentration which is a vertical and vshear horizontal transmission and concentration.
