Abstract: A high value anomaly of radon in the hot water well of Qicun village occurred in April 2000.Based on the hydrologic and geological condition as well as the feature of radon anomaly and affecting factors, the interference to the anomaly is discussed systematically.We conclude that instead of an earthquake precursor, the anomaly is relevant to the water pumping of cold water well in the vicinity.
