Abstract: A M_L4.4 earthquake occurred in Guye of Tangshan area in Jun 25,2000.The seismicity over 4 magnitude has been quiet for 13 months before the event.The frequency,b value,earthquake absent curve and η value all showed some anomalies.Especially a microearthquake group occurred in the vicinity of Douhe in Jun 15.The largest magnitude is M_L3.4.The precusory approaches also showed some imminent anomalies,such as Chengde and Kuancheng ground tilt,Yutian and Hejian Ma-17 wells' underground water level.Based on those anomalies,Center for Analysis and prediction of Seismological Bureau of Hebei Province predicted the event accurately.
