K-W检验和熵法在单个特征选择中的应用

THE APPLICATION OF K-W TEST AND ENTROPY METHOD TO SINGLE FEATURE SELECTION

  • 摘要: 本文用K-W检验法和熵法对94个地震活动性特征进行了单个特征的选择。用两种方法分别选出了相对较好的12个特征和10个特征,两者的结果比较一致。对选择出的少量特征所描述的样品,用Fisher方法集群的误识率比用全部94个特征的误识率低。这表明用少数选择出的特征来代替全部特征是有效的。这样既可节约时间和经费还可避免特征较多可能带来的某些问题。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, single feature selection is done for 94 featues of seismicity using K-W test and entropy method. Best 12 and 10 features are selected respectivity by these two methods, and both results are more coincident with each other. For samples discribed by a small amount of features selected, the rate of mis-recognition of clustering by Fisher's method is lower than that by all 94 features. This shows it is effective that a small amount of features replace all features. Thus it can not only save time and cut down expenses but also avoid some problems caused possiblely by more features.
