JOINT DETERMINATION OF SEISMIC WAVE VELOCITY AND HYPOCENTER PARAMETERS IN WULUMUQI AREA

  • 摘要: 新疆地域辽阔,地震台站稀疏,地壳内地震波速变结构资料较少,一些地区几乎是空白,因此,地震定位工作难度较大。经反复试验,选定了联合测定波速和震源参数的定位法,大量计算实例表明,该方法在一定程度上可以改善由台网布局不合理而引起的方位误差,求得的波速值较稳定,震源参数可靠。

     

    Abstract: Xinjing region is vast, where seismographic stations are sparse and the data of seismic wave velocity in the crust are few. So it is great difficult to determine the hypoeenters of the earthquakes. After repeated tests, we have selected a joint location method for joint determining the seismic wave velocity and hypoeenter parameters. Many computed results show that this method may improve the orientation error caused by unreasonable network arrangement. The computable wave velocity value is stable and the hypocentral parameters are reliable.
